You probably going to get some splash oil out of the open hole ,so be prepared. Air has to go IN the tank as fuel is pulled out. Simple check is remove the fuel fill cap and run the tractor. Bet it runs if that is the case check the line off the back left top of tank. My symtoms are kind of the same.

I have a 15' Batwing attached and out mowing. The PTO is set at rpms. I have to disingage the PTO and keep pumping the fuel peddle to try to keep it from stalling. If I do keep it from stalling and re engage the PTO the tractor will again to louse power. The tractor was just serviced at the dealership and has less the five hours on it since. Total77 New member. Jan 13, 1 0 0 Pottstown. We own a newer Kubota tractor L with a 3cyl Diesel. The tractor seemed to be missing and was down on power, especially under load. I decided to further bleed the fuel lines individually off the pump by cracking the fitting loose and cranking the motor to make sure each cyl.

I attempted to adjust the valves by turning them but by only 1 click in either direction its low on power and missing with no smoke, or runs smoother but with huge clouds of black smoke as it may be getting too much fuel. Im stumped. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Loosening an injector line with a 17mm wrench and lifting it off the injector pump won't put you anywhere near the delivery valves. Did you crack the nut on the steel line and jerk it upwards to unseat it from the pump or did your spin the entire delivery valve cartridge out of the injector pump, springs and all? The Injector Pump Delivery Valve is shown as reference part 30 in the attached parts schematic.
