Once you press enter you will have a variety of options to choose from but the best one, in my opinion, is www. Once you click on this link, you will be presented with the option of downloading the BlueStacks installer.
After you have clicked on the download button the installer file will be transferred to your computer over some time depending on your internet speed after which you can visit the exact location of the file on your computer and right-click on it, then install. As with many other Android applications, BlueStacks will require you to set up an account.
Fortunately, a pre-existing Google account might come in handy at this point and your work will be made easier if you have one because you can sign up using your Google account. The step that follows is pretty simple and goes without saying for people who are accustomed to Android devices but for the convenience of those who might not be very well versed in this area, I will go ahead and say it. To install gDMSS from BlueStacksall you need to do is search for it on the search section and it will be listed among the options that popup.
Click on the right one then click the install button afterward. It will install then three other options will be displayed on the screen. To make it easier, I will list them in steps: a Go to the section indicated as Device Manager2 b Make sure to include all available cameras3 c Make sure to fill up the digital recorder information as required then save everything.

No settings on my end have changed. They did add a bunch of "Cloud based features". Whatever they did, I cannot connect over Cellular. Anyone else experiencing the same issue or have a work around. Joined Mar 21, Messages Reaction score I updated as well and my cellular is working correctly. I was having problems over WiFi on vacation last week before realizing that Xfinity somehow blocks me even when connected to my vpn.
P2P should be fine but I cannot access or tell my PTZ to go to presets, It gives an error that says device not supported. I sent Andy some screen shots and an explanation of what was going on so he could let them know about the errors. Low and behold I checked the App Store and there was an update about an hour ago. Once I installed the update it still was not working but I then removed my device and re-added it and it is working like it should now. A Big thanks to Andy for helping out and getting some of the issues resolved.

Locally I can use idmss but not externally. I 'm using no- ip dns and I can 't seem to get it to work. Port is open on canyouseeme. My router had accepted and updated the no-ip hostname and is enabled.
You need to open 4 ports, not just one. By default they are 80,and Web port is only needed if you want to access the web interface, but you would need to open the others. I believe you only need to concern yourself with forwarding the web port and TCP port for typical remote viewing.
For dmss, you only need to put inyour custom No-ip host name, your login in, and password. For web service online, you'll typically need to browse to your custom No-ip host name and if you changed port 80 in the Dvr and forwarded the new port, you'll need to include that on the end of you No-ip address with for example, or whatever you changed it to.
Also make sure you set and enable your Dvr to use noip as well. I haven 't done anything on the Dahua to set it up for no-ip. How do I do that? Thanks everyone for your help. I've tried all the suggestions made but no luck. Look in the network menu, maybe the DDNS menu or something in there. Put your no-ip account info in there and enable it. The only thing I see on the network menu of the Dahua is primary dns and secondary dns.
Would I put my no-ip host address there? Go into main menu, setting, network, network setting which you may have to double click on to get onto, and then plug in your No-ip info. I figured out where the ddns section is in the menu.
Still can't get it to work. I filled out some but I'm not sure of the settings. On the dvr in the ddns settings, I selected ddns type as no-ips with my server ip as xxxxx. The part I'm not sure of is domain name, user name and password. Do I use my no-ip user and password or the dahua user and password For port, should it be 80 or ? For user and password, again is it andor the no-ip user and password? If I use port 80, it times out.
With it instantly fails. Both ports 80 and or open on canyouseeme. When you choose No-ip in the Dvr it will auto fill some things.Forums New posts Search forums. Wiki Pages Latest activity. Downloads Latest reviews Search resources. Media New media New comments Search media.

Thread starter mch85 Start date Oct 4, Joined Feb 22, Messages 3 Reaction score 1. Good day all, I'm pretty new to the Dahua system, I just got it installed last month.
When no VPN I cannot see cameras on wifi away from home. This seems correct. I just get "failed to connect". Just seems odd, I can turn a hotspot on from my wife's phone, connect to it so then I have a "wifi" connection and then the cameras work just fine.
Yesterday I tried port forwarding the recommended ports, verified through the port checking website and they showed good but no change.
I assume this is all correct for going through a VPN.
Hope someone has seen this issue before! Joined Mar 29, Messages 1, Reaction score 1, Location almost to the bottom. There may be a setting on your iPhone that is off. Maybe mobile networks is off or maybe something not letting you use that much data over a mobile network? So can't use VPN with Tmobile and netgear. At least on the official firmware. Last edited: Dec 2, Last edited: Dec 3, DMSS Digital Mobile Surveillance System is an application for mobile phones and tablets, which allows you to centrally manage various security devices. It is the official application of the Dahua brand, reference manufacturer in CCTV, and is also compatible with all products of the X-Security brand.
Currently there is no need to choose since Dahua has published the Plus version totally free. The mentioned applications have undergone several updates that improve their functioning and increase their capacities, so that sometimes, it is difficult to follow all the news. Therefore, let's see a small summary of what they offer us in the management of our video surveillance devices:. The main novelty is the ability to manage in a single app, both CCTV devices, access control and alarm systems of the manufacturer Dahua.
This last option allows adding devices by QR code scanning and even a complete list of devices, very useful to migrate from the Lite app to the Plus version in a single operation. With possibility of favourite devices. Live, to access and capture the live video of the added devices, combining channels and cameras. Playback, to consult, capture, trim and extract the recorded videos. In turn, clips and captures can be viewed from the smartphone's memory.
It allows to modify the coding resolution and ratio of imagesimage adjustments, movement control of PTZ cameras or with motorized Zoom, bidirectional audio communication with the device and display of quadrants, as more interesting functions.
The detection events generated by the devices are listed and notified in the app through push notifications. These consist of instant and free alerts supported by the devices and to which we can subscribe easily, according to the type of detection selected. The next updates will allow the recording of video in the cloud under a subscription service, with rates per channel for recording of 3, 7 or 30 days, and only for cameras that support this functionality. We take this opportunity to remind you that Visiotech offers its customers a Demo of an X-Security recorder with a neutral image, in order to show the potential of the system to any interested party, as well as the use of Dahua's iDMSS and gDMSS applications.

More news March.I have 6 cameras around the perimeter of my house. The view isnt clear especially after dark. I have one ring camera and love it. The app is is a breeze too! Unlike this app. This app has too many steps to view live or preview. The live view shows scribble lines most of the time. When I am home I want dependable viewing and I want to be able to access cameras quickly. My ring camera at my front door does that. This one is awful! This app is a easy to setup.
I have two remote locations and setup for each took only a few minutes. Runs very stable with never any crashes. Remote playback works very well with the ability to save files to my iPhone. If you set up 2location do not used this app.
IDMSS =Failed to Connect Over Cellular Data

There are a few versions of the phone app, install the app on your phone and then see what interface your app has. Point the camera to the P2P icon and scan it first picture on this article. Select the save icon located on the top right corner.
Enter your info P2P number scan it or type it manuallyusername and password. Enter the username, password and select live preview. You may enter the SN number manually which can also be found under the recorder. Enter Username and Password. After this the app will show up all the cameras.
